About TYIS

Our school offers an education guided by the YMCA core values. These include caring, respect, responsibility, and honesty, plus the importance of community and a high level of academic excellence.

To cope with a diverse school population, we have been encouraging our students to develop an awareness and appreciation of cultural identity and individual acceptance. Thus we can provide a positive learning atmosphere in which our students will develop and acquire the skills needed to make meaningful contributions to the global as well as local community.
