Location & School Bus

TYIS is easily accessible by the Tozai Metro line as well as by our school bus.

TYIS is located a five-minute walk from Toyocho station on the Tozai Metro line. This is a convenient line that runs through the heart of Tokyo connecting Mitaka in west Tokyo and Nishi Funabashi to the east in Chiba.

For those who want to use our bus service, the routes are dependent upon the number of students requiring transportation. Pick-up points that are within or near the Koto-ku area are given priority. The following areas are currently being serviced: Taito-ku, Chuo-ku, Bunkyo-ku, and Chiyoda-ku. Please note that not all requests can be honored. Bus routes for the school year are finalized only after all the bus application forms have been received. We ask parents to recognize that the pick-up time may be early, and thus the drop-off time late due to traffic problems and/or weather conditions. Buses do not pick up students individually. Instead, the bus route pick-up and drop-off points are located at major landmarks such as train stations.
