みっくす！～外国にルーツのある子どもたちのためのデイアウトプログラム～

プログラム内容/About the Program

体験の機会の少ない、日本に暮らす外国にルーツを持つ子どもたちを対象にして外出プログラムを行っています。自分で電車の切符や入場券を買ったり、日本語を使ってグループの仲間と一緒に１日を過ごしたり、実際の体験を通して学びます。同じような背景を持つ仲間と一緒に過ごしながら、日本の文化や環境への理解を深められる楽しい居場所です。

2023年度に外国にルーツのある子どものサマーキャンプに参加したボランティアリーダーや、子ども、保護者の声から始まった活動です。

■「みっくす！」の名前について
多様な価値観が混ざり合い、尊重し合えるようにという願いが込められています。
やさしい日本語を意識して、ひらがな表記にしました。

We offer a field trip program for children with international backgrounds, living in Japan who have few opportunities to experience day-out programs due to language burdens. They learn through experiences, such as buying their tickets and spending a day with their group mates using Japanese. It is a fun experience where you can deepen your understanding of Japanese culture and environment while spending time with friends from international backgrounds.

Meet in the morning at the gathering place.
　　　Boarding the train and/or bus to the destination.
　　　Have fun in a group.
Eating Lunch together.
　　　Enjoy in groups.
Return to the gathering place.
　　　See You Next Time!

This program started from the voices of volunteer leaders, children and parents who participated in a summer camp for children with international backgrounds in 2023.

■About the name "みっくす！(Mikkusu！)"
The name "Mikkusu! (MIX!)" expresses our wish that our diversity of one's values are to be mixed and respected. The name is written in hiragana, so that it is easy to read for everyone.
